Shanks Signs was built on craftsmanship long before computers ever entered the sign trade. I began professionally hand painting signs in 1977, developing the discipline and detail that only brush work can teach. As the industry transitioned in the early 1990s to computer-assisted graphics, I embraced the technology while maintaining the same commitment to strong design and quality production.
Today, Shanks Signs produces banners, truck lettering, vehicle graphics, custom signs, real estate signage, and a wide range of vinyl graphics. When a project calls for authentic, era-correct character, I still offer hand lettering.
My design work is highly respected, and customers regularly come from Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana for quality they know they can trust. I focus primarily on design and production in the shop, personally handling many vinyl applications and coordinating professional installation when projects require it.
